Did you know there's a difference between CACAO and COCOA? Although spelled similarly, they are DRASTICALLY different in health terms.
Raw cacao powder is made without any heating techniques -- it's made by pressing unroasted cocoa beans. Since the beans are cold processed, all vitamins, nutriens, and live enzymes are preserved. Cocoa looks and sounds similar, but it's very different: Cocoa powder is raw cacao that has been roasted at high temperatures, thereby removing most of the health benefits. When you have a choice, stick with CACAO!
